Specially focussing on awareness concerning health and sanitation during women’s Natural cycle in the subject of Menstruation.
Menstruation is one of the vital processes of woman’s body which deserves utmost caution and self-care. But the tragedy behind it is the women themselves are not aware of the consequences of carelessness during menstrual cycle as a result of which they become prone to number of incurable and prolonged diseases.
On the auspicious day of International Women’s Day by launching this campaign, we tried to create awareness and healthier change among these jhuggi’s women to maintain hygiene during menstruation by informing the importance and advantages of using Sanitary Napkins including its way of disposal.
It was found very miserable situation during the awareness and Napkin distribution programme, most of the women was habituated to use dirty clothes or ashes in those days.
